These Christmas desserts tick all the boxes: cookies, candy, cake, and more! Tons of easy recipes that will ensure the holiday season is a breeze!

Ingredients  

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup chocolate finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup almonds chopped

Instructions 

  • Line a square pan with parchment paper and sprinkle with the chopped almonds.
  • In a small saucepan, add the butter, sugar, and water and place over medium heat. Stir continuously until it reaches an internal temperature of 300F.
  • Transfer the candy to the pan and over the almonds and let it cool completely.
  • Once cool, microwave the chocolate in 20-second increments until smooth.
  • Pour over the hard candy and let it set. Once set, break it up into pieces.

Notes

TO STORE: Candy will keep at room temperature, covered, for up to four weeks. Store it in the refrigerator if you’d like it to last longer. 
TO FREEZE: Place the candy in a ziplock bag and store it in the freezer for up to 6 months.
